“Today” show co-host Sheinelle Jones revealed she’s been absent from her post for over a month due to a “family health matter.”

The journalist took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a statement, which read, “Hi everybody … I sincerely appreciate all of you who have reached out while I’ve been absent from the show.

“I want to share that I’m taking time to deal with a family health matter. It’s not lost how lucky I am to have not only the support of my Today Show daily, but to also have all of you.

“Your kindness means so much to me. I’ll see you soon,” she concluded her brief post without detailing who was dealing with the health issue.

Her absence was also discussed on Wednesday’s episode of the “Today” show with Savannah Guthrie saying, “We want to share some news here about our friend Sheneille. … We know so many of you have been asking about Sheneille and missing her and we miss her too.”

After Guthrie read Jones’ Instagram statement, Craig Melvin added, “We all love you and we are so looking forward to having you back.”

Jones –– who has been with “Today” since 2014 –– is one of the three main co-anchors for the “Today” show and also co-hosts “Today 3rd Hour” with Melvin, Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer.

The broadcaster, 46, last appeared on the talk show on Dec. 18, 2024, and has only been featured in pre-recorded episodes since then.

Fans began expressing concern over Jones’ absence after the rest of the “Today” staff returned from the holidays. She also missed former co-anchor Hoda Kotb’s star-studded emotional sendoff last week.

Prior to the announcement on Wednesday, the “Today” show co-hosts would briefly mention that Jones was off or just out for the day.

NBC and “Today” correspondents Carson Daly, Vicky Nguyen, Laura Jarrett and Savannah Sellers have all been rotating as substitutions, as well.

Over the last several weeks, social media users have flooded the comments section of both her and the “Today” show’s Instagram pages wondering where she’s been.

“Where are you @sheinelle_o 🙏🏾 Are you ok?” one person commented under her most recent Instagram post.

“Your fans are missing you. I hope all is well and we will see you next week back on Today. You are very loved by viewers ❤️ ♥️ ❤️,” another user wrote on her Instagram page.

“Where is @sheinelle_o !!? She is my favorite! So worried about her and so odd she hasn’t been there and nothing is being stated about her absence,” someone else commented on a recent “Today” show post.

“Prayers are sent to you Sheinelle for whatever you are going through,” someone else commented.

“Where is Sheinelle???? Why has no one mentioned her?? What happened to @sheinelle_o,” another user asked on Instagram.

“Praying for @sheinelle_o as she’s been away a few weeks now,” someone else chimed in.

Jones and her husband, Uche Ojeh, share three children: 15-year-old son Kayin and 12-year-old fraternal twins, Clara and Uche.

Jones and Ojeh met at Northwestern University and were dating for nearly a decade before tying the knot in 2007.
