Three people were injured after a small plane crashed in front of horrified fans at a major NHRA drag racing event in Pomona, California on Sunday.

The crash occurred when the plane attempted to land at an airfield near the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip, ABC 7 reported.

Survivors were rushed to the hospital, and the plane smashed multiple parked cars and a camper, witnesses told journalist Jerry Jordan.

The plane hit the ground during the In-N-Out Burger National Hot Rod Association finals event.

The event was halted after the crash, NHRA said on X.
