That’s not very Clark Kent of him.
“Smallville” star Tom Welling accidentally exposed himself in the reflection of his hotel room window while staying in New York City.
The actor, who portrayed the future Man of Steel in the hit WB/CW series, posted a photo of the view from his hotel room to his Instagram Stories on Friday with the caption, “Hello, NYCC,” referring to New York Comic Con.
But fans quickly noticed that the skyscrapers weren’t the only things on display.
The photo remained on Welling’s account for at least 10 hours before it was deleted, according to Just Jared, but screenshots of the NSFW image quickly spread across social media.
A rep for Welling didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Cheaper by the Dozen” actor, 49, is in the Big Apple this weekend as a guest at New York Comic Con, where the cast of “Smallville” is set to reunite ahead of the show’s 25th anniversary on Oct. 16.
“Smallville” premiered on the WB in 2001 and ran for 10 seasons before concluding on the CW in May 2011.
The series followed Clark Kent’s life before he became Superman, with Welling starring alongside Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor, Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang and Erica Durance as Lois Lane.
In January, Welling opened up about his decision to leave Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He and his wife, Jessica Rose Lee, moved to a small town in Northern California in 2020 with their son, Thomson Wylde, whom they welcomed in January 2019.
The couple tied the knot in November of that year. Welling, for his part, was previously married to model Jamie White from 2002 to 2015.
“LA was wild at the time,” Welling said. “There were no cars on the street. You couldn’t go anywhere.”
“People weren’t leaving their homes,” he continued. “Our first son was starting to crawl, and we only had this tiny deck for him to play on. There was this thought of, we don’t know if we can be here anymore.”
The “Lucifer” actor said he had always known he wanted to leave Los Angeles eventually, but the move came sooner than expected after he visited family in Northern California and fell in love with a ranch in the area.
“No one bothers you in a small town,” Welling said. “Everyone’s famous in a small town.”
