As a defeated Dolphins fan, I can concur with Mr. Elliott.

DeShon Elliott — a safety of the Pittsburgh Steelers — kept it an absolute bean while speaking on “The Punch Line” podcast about his former team, the Miami Dolphins.

Elliott stated that he was excited for the upcoming game between the Steelers and Baltimore Ravens, connecting it to his belief that the Dolphins are “soft as f*ck.” (RELATED: 49ers Lock Up Deommodore Lenoir On 5-Year, $92 Million Contract Extension)

“There were some guys who were tough, but the majority of the [Dolphins], they were not mentally tough individuals. So to be on a team, with a full team of mentally tough guys going against a mentally tough team … this is going to be fun,” Elliot said.

But that wasn’t all that Elliott said, also making the claim that “Miami culture” is why the Dolphins “will never be good.”

The saga doesn’t stop there though.

During a press conference Wednesday, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel was questioned about Elliott’s comments, but he didn’t really have much to say.

We haven’t had a winning team since …  I can’t even remember. Tell me where DeShon is wrong.
