The Supreme Court on Sept. 25 said the Trump administration can use an updated immigration database to verify the citizenship of voters.
Six justices approved the administration’s request for a stay of a lower court order. Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan dissented.
