A tatted-up Tren de Aragua gang hellcat was allowed to take off her ankle monitor a year before she was busted running a lawless, brutal border hotel brothel, sources said.

Federal immigration authorities let alleged Venezuelan sex trafficker Estefania “La Barbie” Primera go without the tracking monitor after she whined that her belongings had been stolen, including the bracelet’s charger, sources told The Post.

“La Barbie” was later arrested by cops in El Paso, Texas and accused of running a sex trafficking ring out of the Gateway Hotel, which had been taken over by TdA gangbangers, sources added.

Border agents had first released Primera into the US shortly after she crossed the El Paso border illegally alongside family members in August 2023, sources said. She was fitted with an ankle monitor by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, sources previously said.

But just weeks after her release, Primera stopped charging her ankle monitor and begged ICE officers overseeing her case to ultimately remove it, according to sources.

Apparently free from the ICE monitoring device, “La Barbie” trafficked victims of the Gateway, which has since been shut down by local authorities.

At least one victim claimed Primera drugged her with a pill containing fentanyl and brought men in to rape her one-by-one while she was passed out, court documents said. The victim said she sustained horrific injuries following the gang rape.

But when she tried to flee, “La Barie” forced the victim back to the hotel, repeatedly punching and kicking her, the documents alleged.

Primera was arrested in late September outside El Paso’s Sacred Heart Church in El Paso, a place of refuge for migrant arrivals. She was accompanied by her five young kids, who she allegedly used as drug mules.

Surveillance footage inside The Gateway hotel shows unruly people filling the hallways, where TdA was operating.

TdA gangbangers have largely used the El Paso border to enter the US, where they’ve spread their crime rings to at least 19 states, according to authorities and sources.

Primera is now being held in an El Paso jail on a $200,000 bond.
