Taylor Swift launched new merchandise just in time for the holidays, but her fans are taking to social media to complain about the quality - despite it selling out swiftly.
The pop star's fans raced to her online store to buy up the holiday collection, which included ornaments, festive décor, sweatshirts, jackets, and pajamas and ranged from $15 to $120.
Some items sold out almost immediately before ending up on eBay and Poshmark for astronomical prices.
The Cruel Summer singer's fans took issue with the quality of an $85 koi fish zip-up that didn't have the same design as the website, a $120 chore jacket that was lined in polyester, and a $75 black purse that wasn't double-lined.
'Girl what happened to the fish I PAID 100 FOR THIS,' a Swiftie named Ashley wrote on X (previously Twitter) about the $85 Speak Now (Taylor's Version) Koi Fish Zip Up Hoodie in what became a viral thread.

The sold-out $120 Cowboy Like Me on-trend chore jacket was equally criticized on both X and TikTok because fans thought it would be embroidered
The 16-year-old X user showed a picture of what the hoodie was meant to look like - covered in fish - as well as their version, which only had a few fish emblazoned on the top and bottom.
The 100 per cent polyester zip-up hoodie does come with the warning: 'Please note due to the custom all over print pattern, each piece will be unique.'
'They swam up during the shipping process,' one follower joked, as another said, 'they migrated sorry girl.'
Many of her followers suggested she complain and ask for a refund, with one responding, 'lol not her stealing your money.'
The sold-out $120 Cowboy Like Me jacket was equally criticized on both X and TikTok.
'The quality of the Cowboy Like Me jacket is awful… the material is SO thin that it feels like you're wearing a shirt rather than a jacket and the lyrics on the back are printed not embroidered like the website stated,' one fan complained bitterly.
Not everyone hated the jacket - one Swiftie wrote in support, 'I know the Cowboy Like Me jacket isn't embroidered like we originally thought but it's still so cute and I love it so much.'
They X user added, 'it's literally that super thin cheap tote bag material lined with thin polyester on the inside, you can barely even call it a jacket.'
The Tortured Poet's Department Department purse was also slammed by Swifties, with one person tweeting, 'for $75 this purse absolutely should've been double lined so you can't see the stitching on the outside…'
On TaylorSwift.com the purse is described as a 'black faux leather bag featuring TTPD gold metal hardware on front and gold metal buckle on adjustable strap with magnetic closure'
One person called the purse 'cheap' and said it had 'threads hanging out' and came 'in a dust bag with ink rubbed all over,' calling it 'the funniest delivery' they had ever received.
Some pointed out that fans have been calling out the Mastermind singer's merch for years, with one tweeting, 'Not to victim blame but if you're expecting good quality merch from store dot Taylor Swift dot com in the year 2024 that's on you'

Another fan showed off their black faux leather bag and said, 'This is the TTPD purse if anyone is still thinking of buying! Not the *best* quality I would say, but it still looks cute.'

However, the plaid pajamas also received rave reviews, with a fan tweeting, 'I know people are upset about the cowboy like me jacket but the evermore pajamas are 100 per cent cotton and fully embroidered! Very glad they kept the quality.'

Another agreed, 'every time Taylor Swift does a merch drop I have to see a viral tweet or TikTok about how awful the quality is and how she's robbing y'all so I beg the question…. why do y'all keep buying it?'
Despite the complaints, much of the collection is already sold-out and available on re-sale sites this holiday season, including the koi zip-up and chore jacket.
