A 14-year-old boy was busted with a loaded gun during a heated clash inside a Queens playground Wednesday afternoon — and a good Samaritan who stepped in to stop the melee was slashed by another attacker, cops and sources said.
The teen flashed a gun as he fought with another youngster inside Hollis Playground at 204th Street and Hollis Avenue in Queens Village around 3:40 p.m., cops said.
A good Samaritan spotted the boys fighting and tried to stop them — even notifying School Safety officers from I.S. 192, a public middle school down the block, police said.
At some point, a third suspect who wasn’t involved in the initial brawl slashed the Samaritan on the back, cops said.
That person ran off, but the gun-wielding teen was taken into custody by the School Safety officers, police said.
Charges were not immediately filed.
The incident followed a burst of violence involving teens both inside and outside of high schools late last month.
A 16-year-old boy was stabbed and wounded across from John F. Kennedy High School on Terrace View Avenue in the Marble Hill section of the Bronx on Feb. 26, police said.
A day earlier, a 17-year-old boy was busted with a loaded gun stashed in his backpack after getting into a fight with another student inside the Community School for Social Justice on East 140th Street in Mott Haven, cops and sources said.
