A teen driver was arrested Tuesday for allegedly striking an NYPD sergeant with a stolen car during a multi-borough chase that ended with him being shot by an officer over the weekend.

Jayden Mendoza, 18, was charged with attempted murder for allegedly plowing into several officers after cops surrounded the stolen vehicle in the Bronx on Sunday evening, according to the NYPD.

Angel Robles — Mendoza’s 20-year-old passenger who hopped out of the stolen silver Kia Sport before it was pulled over — was busted Monday on criminal possession of a loaded firearm charges.

The NYPD posted an image on X of the loaded Glock 22 gun and an extended magazine that was discovered in the back of the car.

Authorities had received an alert from a license plate reader indicating that the Kia with New Jersey license plates — which had been stolen on Saturday — was traveling through Washington Heights around 5:35 p.m.

The NYPD’s Community Response Team secretly tailed the Kia into the Bronx before it ultimately stopped in front of a building on East Fordham Road between Webster and Decatur Avenues, Aneudy Castillo, Commanding Officer of Patrol Borough Bronx North, said at a press conference Sunday night.

Six unmarked cop cars then surrounded the Kia, as police officers jumped out to plead with Mendoza to get out of the car.

Instead, Mendoza allegedly reversed and hit an unmarked police car and several officers — before putting the Kia into drive and striking a sergeant, sending him flying to the ground, sources and cops said.

Another cop, who climbed onto an unmarked vehicle to avoid being struck, shot Mendoza as he tried to reverse into the path of other officers. The 18-year-old is still in the hospital.

Multiple cops, including the sergeant who was sent flying, were taken to the hospital with various injuries in stable condition.

Mendoza has previously been arrested and charged with multiple felonies for allegedly shooting a man in the neighborhood in February.
