While the game’s charming setup may remind some players of Ratatouille, Salt & Soul puts its own spin on the cooking adventure formula. Rather than simply collecting ingredients for your grandmother’s recipe, players must actively prepare dishes using manual cooking mechanics. That includes adjusting stove temperatures, timing stirs correctly, balancing seasoning, and more.

According to the game’s description, players will explore the shadowy kitchen while searching for a key ingredient needed to complete their grandmother’s final recipe.
