President-elect Donald Trump said Thursday that JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon will not be part of his administration.

Trump broadcast the decision on his Truth Social network.

Republicans and Democrats had mentioned Dimon as a potential Treasury secretary for Trump and also for Vice President Kamala Harris, had she won.

'I respect Jamie Dimon, of JPMorgan Chase, greatly, but he will not be invited to be a part of the Trump Administration. I thank Jamie for his outstanding service to our Country!' Trump wrote Thursday afternoon.

The message came after Reuters reported the day after the presidential election that Dimon had no plans to join the Trump White House 2.0.

Dimon didn't endorse Trump ahead of the election.

But his wife Judy went a step further and knocked doors for Harris in the swing state of Michigan the weekend before voters headed to the polls.

Judy Dimon donated nearly $200,000 to the Democratic National Committee and gave the Harris campaign $3,300 - the max individual donation allowed to be donated to a candidate's committee per election cycle.

President-elect Donald Trump said Thursday that JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon will not be part of his administration - after Dimon already signaled that he would not join the Trump 2.0 White House

President-elect Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Thursday afternoon to say that JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon would not be 'invited' to join the second Trump White House

She gave the same amount to Michigan's Democratic Senate hopeful, Rep. Elissa Slotkin, who was successful in her bid.

Jamie Dimon's net worth is estimated to be around 2.5 billion - and he's credited with helping JPMorgan Chase CEO natigate the 2008 financial crash, running the bank for nearly 19 years.

Trump has shocked Washington with some of his appointments thus far - including the selection of embattled Rep. Matt Gaetz for attorney general and Fox News anchor JPMorgan Chase CEO as Pentagon chief.

But he's also been vocal about who won't be joining the ranks - even if they've told him they're not interested.

On Saturday, Trump posted to Truth Social that former U.N. Amb. Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo would not be asked back.

Haley has since said on her SiriusXM show that Trump was aware she didn't want to work for him again.

'His best friend, Steve Witkoff, came to our house in South Carolina ... He was like, "What do you want? Tell me what you want. Is there anything you want?" I said, "There's nothing I want,"' she said.

The two were political rivals in the 2024 Republican primary - which he won.

Haley later endorsed Trump but never campaigned for him in-person.

She ended hitting the trail for Pennsylvania Republican Senate hopeful Dave McCormick instead.
