President Donald Trump used a simple trick to enjoy his favorite fast food while he lost 30 pounds.

Fox News' host Sean Hannity revealed the president's diet trick during an interview with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

'If he has a burger now, he usually doesn’t have it with a bun,' Hannity said.

He then added: 'I hope I’m not revealing something I shouldn’t.'

Trump, 78, is known as a fast food connoisseur, enjoying hamburgers from McDonalds - particularly the Quarter Pounder.

He also likes his steaks well-done, indulges his sweet tooth with Oreos, and drinks up to a dozen diet cokes a day, which he can summon with the press of a button from his desk in the Oval Office.

But he lost 30 pounds last year during the height of the presidential campaign.

Hannity said the president was 'getting healthier' and 'looks great.'

Trump makes no secret of his love of McDonalds. He even worked a shift at one in Pennsylvania during his presidential bid, taking drive-through orders and serving up fries.

But he also sparked talk he was on a diet when he appeared much more svelte.

There was speculation he had taken weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic or Wegovy.

Trump finally addressed his dramatic physical change. He told Fox News' Brian Kilmeade: '[I did it] the hard way. I work.'

'I've been so busy I haven't been able to eat very much. I'm not able to sit down and eat like a person like you - you can sit down and eat. Me, it's a little bit tougher,' he said.

He added that he was 'fighting shape'.

Melania Trump also helped with the president's weight loss.

The first lady, who eats healthy foods and avoids alcohol, helped her husband  eat better and avoid the Mar-a-Lago dessert buffet, which includes over two dozen homemade cakes, puddings, and tortes.

Ahead of the rigors of the 2024 presidential election, Trump's doctor Bruce Aronwald issued a positive but vague assessment of the former president's health, calling it 'excellent.'

'President Trump has reduced his weight through an improved diet and continued daily physical activity, while maintaining a rigorous schedule,' Aronwald wrote.

But the report did not include his weight, blood pressure, what medications he takes, his cholesterol, or even how much weight he had dropped.

Trump will have his first physical as president next month at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the White House announced in early March.

His final physical of his first term found him to be technically obese with elevated blood pressure.

While he does enjoy fast food, Trump does not smoke or drink.

During his first term, Trump served fast food at the White House and ate it on Air Force One on a regular basis.

His former aides Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie, in 2017, described a typical Trump dinner: two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches and a chocolate malt.

They joked his four major food groups were McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza and Diet Coke.

Trump repeatedly questioned Joe Biden's mental and physical health during Biden's time in office.

He started his second term as the oldest person inaugurated as president, at 78 years and 220 days old.

Biden was the next oldest American to be inaugurated as president at 78 years and 61 days old.
