Six of the Turpin children could be set for a payout over harrowing abuse they suffered at the hands of a foster family who took them in after they escaped torture at the hands of their parents.
The youngest of the 13 Turpin siblings have reached a settlement in their case against former foster parents Marcelino and Rosa Olguin, California's Riverside County and its agency contractor ChildNet, the Sun reports.
The Olguin family was tasked with caring for the children after they were rescued from their parents' 'house of horrors' in the Southern California community of Perris in 2018.
Their parents, David and Louise Turpin, pleaded guilty to torture and years of abuse that included shackling some of their 13 biological children, starving them and providing only a minimal education.
But for several of the children, the nightmare only continued when they arrived at the Olguins' home, where they were subjected to further beatings and sexual abuse.
In the three years the children spent with the family, they were subject to violence, molestations and forced to gorge themselves on food and then eat their own vomit, according to their lawsuit.
The Olguins and their daughter Lennys Olguin all pleaded guilty to several counts of child abuse after their arrest in 2021.
Their foster children then filed a lawsuit against them and the agencies accusing them of negligence in July 2022.

Marcelino, 63, was charged with the sexual abuse and physically and mentally torturing the children after bringing them into his home in 2018
The Sun has now obtained court documents which reveal that a settlement has been reached, although not yet approved.
One 'minor's compromise' remains to be finalized to ensure the settlement is in the best interests of the child, the outlet reports.
If the settlement is rejected by the Board of Supervisors it will proceed to court in August.
According to the lawsuit obtained by DailyMail.com Marcelino, named as Mr.O, 'sexually abused Jane Doe 5 and her siblings by, among other things, grabbing and fondling their buttocks, legs and breasts, kissing them on their mouths and making sexually suggestive comments.'
The children were allegedly forced to sit by themselves for hours outside and witness a foster child under Lennys' care be 'physically abused and tortured.'
The wicked family would also routinely tell the kids they were unworthy of love and deserved their hellish ordeal, according to the lawsuit.
Marcelino was eventually sentenced to seven years in jail, while his wife and daughter were given four years of probation each.
The children's lawyer argued that ChildNet should never have placed the siblings in the Olguins' care because 'they had a prior history of abusing and neglecting children who had been placed in their care.'
David and Louise Turpin - who are now serving life in prison - regularly beat and restrained their children, fed them just once a day, and only allowed them a shower once a year

The suit also claimed that ChildNet was aware of the abuse the children suffered, but failed to report it to law enforcement or child protective services.
'Defendants had a duty to protect plaintiffs, but instead protected Mr. and Mrs. O by failing to report the abuse and neglect of plaintiffs to Child Protective Services or to law enforcement and by failing to intervene and interfere when abuse and neglect was reported by others,' the suit states.
A 2022 report found that the social service system 'failed' the Turpin children, who ranged in age from 2 to 29 when they were rescued by authorities from their parents' home.
They were so malnourished that police initially believed all those inside the squalid home were minors.
The siblings' diet consisted of nothing but two slices of bread with peanut butter or bologna.
The couple were also accused of taunting their children with pies and other food that they were forbidden to eat.
The Turpin parents chowed down on fast food in front of them, chaining the children to filthy beds if they tried to steal food.
'They still can't look at peanut butter or bologna,' Deputy District Attorney Kevin Beecham told People magazine in 2023.

The children were rescued from the hellhole after their 17-year-old sister Jordan escaped and called 911.
Harrowing footage captured the moment Jordan was able to call a 911 dispatcher, where she warned: 'My two little sisters right now are chained up.'
