Authorities are responding after two passenger trains crashed into each other Friday near Bedford, England.

The Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed crews were responding to an "incident on the railway" just south of Bedford.

Videos from the scene showed bloodied victims on the train floor, according to a report from The Telegraph.

Fox News confirmed there were serious injuries on board.

Sources told The Telegraph the train driver was on the phone with maintenance staff discussing a safety issue at the time of the crash.
