U2 invited fans to “The Greatest Show on Earth” — the band’s upcoming 2027 world tour.

The iconic band announced the exciting news on Instagram Oct. 15, revealing that their tour will share its name with their latest single.

“CARNAVAL DE LUZ PRESENTS: THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH WORLD TOUR 2027 … For our first stops …. 🇲🇽 Mexico City, 🇧🇷 São Paulo, and 🇦🇷 Buenos Aires,” the band wrote on their social media page.

The comment section immediately exploded with excitement from fans across the globe.

“It’s maybe our greatest song in a very long time,” he told the outlet.

“That was a reason to stay in the band,” he said.

Anton Corbijn directed the video for “The Greatest Show on Earth.”

Filmed in the California desert, the video delivers powerful visuals that accompany the lyrics, “If this is love, we make cathedrals of our hurt / People digging their dreams out of the dirt,” before leaning into the hook “We were once the greatest show on earth.”

Rolling Stone reported that U2 will update fans on North American and European dates in the near future.

The band’s new album drops Nov. 13.
