Unlock this Lancer to slide in FragPunk

Fragpunk’s movement isn’t like most other Hero Shooters; it’s slower and more methodic, and for most, it doesn’t include sliding. However, there’s still a way to do so.

Despite mixed reviews, FragPunk is proving pretty popular, with its player count doubling since release and thousands of players diving in to try out the many Lancers, pick the best Shard Cards, and, of course, figure out which soldier lands in S-tier and which isn’t worth choosing.

However, many Hero Shooter fans will be surprised to see that there’s no traditional sliding in FragPunk. Players can sprint, jump, climb, and crouch, but sliding along the floor is no easy feat. Thankfully, it’s not impossible as long as you use one specific Lancer.

How to slide in Fragpunk

To slide in Fragpunk, you’ll need to unlock the rock and roll Lancer, Axon. Alternatively, if you don’t want to play as him, then you can always unlock the Frozen Wasteland Shard Card, which allows all players to slide.

To do this, you can either purchase him for 18,888 Gold or 488 FragPunk coins. Alternatively, you can grab a trophy to unlock a Lancer of your choice. Most players will get one at the beginning of the game, so be sure to unlock Axon with it if you want to slide around the maps.

Once you’ve unlocked Axon, you can slide as usual across any map by simply sprinting and pressing crouch.

If Axon isn’t the style of Lancer you’re looking for, then you’ll need to hope for the Frozen Wasteland Shard Card, which fills the map with ice and allows all players to slide.
