Even Miami ain’t charging prices like this … What the hell?

UNLV has been absolutely rolling this college football season, and this is despite quarterback Matthew Sluka ditching them for the transfer portal in the middle of the campaign. As things stand now, the Rebels sit at a flashy 8-2 and have placed themselves in the AP Top 25 for the first time ever in their history.

It’s been a grade-A campaign for UNLV, and now that we’re at this point, a lot of people want to enjoy them up close. After all, they’re a good football team in Las Vegas — what’s not to love? Well, one fan found out Saturday night in a game between the Rebels and San Diego State that there is in fact something not to love.

UNLV holds their home contests at the Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium. Per professional sports bettor Bill Krackomberger (what a name), one of his friends was present for the Rebels-Aztecs game Saturday and was in a VIP Box for it. While there, he and the group that he was with got hungry and ordered some pizza and chicken wings.

It was a decision that they would ultimately regret, according to Krackomberger.

Friend of mine had a VIP box for yesterday’s UNLV game. Ordered a pizza and wings. Never realized what it was going to cost for this slop…. $653…. They treat the luxury suite guests like they are in a club with bottle service.🤨😳 pic.twitter.com/E6GIJ3i5tZ
