UW President’s home, car vandalized with pro-Palestinian messaging. ( Washington )

UW President Ana Mari Cauce’s home and car were vandalized Wednesday evening with messages reading “Free Palestine” and “Ana Marie – blood on your hands.”
An Instagram post featuring a video of the vandalism included a caption stating that demonstrators aimed to send a message to the president ahead of Thursday’s Board of Regents meeting at UW Tacoma. The post attributed the action to an “anonymous submission from UW students/actioners.”
The video showed protesters spraying red spray paint on the President’s front door and car. The phrase “Ana Mari is complicit in genocide” was spray painted onto the car door using a stencil.
University spokesperson Victor Balta confirmed multiple law enforcement agencies are investigating “due to the nature of the threats in the vandalism and in the perpetrators’ social media posts claiming credit,” in a statement Thursday.
The university is using “all available resources to identify and bring charges against the individuals responsible,” Balta said. He reiterated that university policy is not influenced by crime.

“In the lead-up to today's UW Board of Regents meeting, members of the community wanted to send a strong reminder to Ana Mari of her complicity in the genocide of Palestinians,” the post’s caption read in part. “In addition, flyers listing campus demands and quotes exposing her loyalty to Boeing-primary supplier of weapons for the zionist genocide - were wheatpasted on her house and left in her neighbors mailboxes.”

There were good, standard pro-Palestinian messages like "You are a lesbian and we would like to throw you off a building."
And they also painted her car with the patriotic message of "From the river to the sea...unless you are a lesbian, in which case we would like to throw you off a building."
One of the vandals seems to have been a calligrapher because the messages were beautifully written.
