The Amr Diab Cairo concert is set for Thursday 3 December 2026 at Al Manara Arena in New Cairo. For US travellers, it is a chance to see the singer behind the album Nour El Ain play to a home crowd.

Tickets are on sale at TicketsMarche, the official seller, from EGP 1,100 (about US$21). The seller lists doors at 3 p.m. and the start at 5 p.m. Cairo time, which is 10 a.m. US Eastern.

Who Amr Diab Is and Why This Show Matters

Amr Diab is an Egyptian singer born in Port Said in 1961, according to Egypt Today. His first album, Ya Tareeq, came out in 1983, and fans call him Al Hadaba, the plateau.

His album Nour El Ain brought him recognition well beyond the Arab world, Egypt Today reported. By 2020, the same outlet said, he had won seven World Music Awards.

The Cairo night is presented by Orange Egypt, the local arm of the French telecoms group Orange. The seller promises an evening of chart-topping hits, but no setlist has been published.

Al Manara Arena has become a regular Cairo stage for the singer in recent seasons. Enterprise, an Egyptian business newsletter, listed his Friday 16 January 2026 show there, also presented by Orange.

IQ Magazine, a live-music trade publication, wrote that he has played several sold-out concerts at the venue. One of them, Manara Live Volume 3, took place in February 2025.

Egyptian outlets Akhbar El Yom and Egypt Telegraph reported the 3 December date and prices on Friday 2 October. That leaves almost eight weeks to plan a trip around the Amr Diab Cairo concert.

Tickets, Prices and Age Rules

Tickets for the Amr Diab Cairo concert are sold online at TicketsMarche, the official seller. On Saturday 10 October, it listed six categories, from standing areas to private lounges.

Early-bird Regular tickets cost EGP 1,100 (about US$21), and the Fanpit costs EGP 2,500 (about US$48). Front Row costs EGP 7,000 (about US$134), and Premier Standing costs EGP 7,500 (about US$143).

Lounges are sold whole, for 10 people at EGP 150,000 (about US$2,864) or for 15 people at EGP 250,000 (about US$4,773). The seller assigns each lounge by the best place still free at the time of purchase.

Prices have already risen since the 2 October announcement. That day, Akhbar El Yom listed the cheapest ticket at EGP 1,000 (about US$19), under a super-early-bird tier.

A full ticket is needed from the age of 10, and younger children are not allowed in. TicketsMarche lists doors at 3 p.m., the show at 5 p.m. and doors closing at 10 p.m.

The Venue and How to Get There

The Amr Diab Cairo concert takes place at Al Manara Arena, in New Cairo, a newer district on the capital’s eastern edge. The arena belongs to the Al Manara International Conference Center, which the seller says covers over 30,000 square metres.

IQ Magazine puts the arena’s seating capacity at over 20,000 and calls it one of North Africa’s largest indoor music venues. The seller lists parking, food services and security on site.

On the map, the venue sits about 15 km (9 miles) east of Tahrir Square, the main square of downtown Cairo. It is about 12 km (7.5 miles) south of Cairo International Airport.

Real journey times are much longer, because Cairo traffic is heavy on weekday evenings. Thursday evening also starts the Egyptian weekend, so leave downtown or Giza hotels well before the doors open.

Taxis and ride-hailing apps are the simplest way for most visitors to reach New Cairo. Agree on a pick-up point before the show, because thousands of people leave at the same time.

Tips for US and Foreign Visitors

US citizens need a visa to enter Egypt, according to the US State Department. It lists a 30-day tourist e-visa on arrival at Cairo International Airport for US$36, paid by card.

Egypt also sells e-visas in advance on its official portal, visa2egypt.gov.eg. Your passport must be valid for six months and have at least one blank page.

The State Department rates Egypt at Level 2, exercise increased caution, citing terrorism, crime and health. Its advisory, issued on 15 July 2025, does not list Cairo among the areas to avoid.

Those no-go areas are North and Middle Sinai, the Western Desert without a licensed tour company, and border zones. A night in New Cairo falls outside all of them.

TicketsMarche asks buyers to register with an email address and a phone number, and the form starts with Egypt’s +20 code. Switch it to your own country code, and set up the account well before you plan to buy.

Cairo is seven hours ahead of US Eastern time in early December. So the 5 p.m. start of the Amr Diab Cairo concert is 10 a.m. in New York, for friends following from home.

What Is Not Confirmed Yet

The promoter behind the show is not named on the ticket page, which credits only Orange as presenter. No support act has been announced, and no setlist has been published.

TicketsMarche has not said when the early-bird tiers end or what later prices will be. Buying early is the only way to lock in the current prices.

The seller has not published rules on cameras, bags or re-entry for this show. Check the event page again in the week before Thursday 3 December.
