Fox News personality Kat Timpf is expecting her second child with husband Cameron Friscia. She broke the news during a stand-up show, revealing her baby bump to the audience before sharing a video of the moment on Instagram. The announcement follows a difficult stretch for Timpf: she was diagnosed with breast cancer hours before giving birth to the couple’s son in 2025, underwent surgery, and lost her father earlier this year.

Timpf delivered the surprise to a crowd at one of her comedy shows over the weekend. She then posted the clip on Wednesday, September 23rd, letting viewers who had missed the show see how she told the audience. Timpf, 37, is a regular on Greg Gutfeld’s Fox News show “Gutfeld!” and also appears on “Fox & Friends” and “The Five.”

Onstage, Timpf told the crowd she had a secret, then turned to show her growing stomach. “Are you guys surprised? So was I,” she said. She followed the reveal with a joke about her husband’s Army service, keeping the moment in the style of her stand-up act. The audience at the show had known about the pregnancy before she made it public online.

In the caption accompanying the video, Timpf thanked the roughly 1,500 people at her show for keeping the news to themselves. “So awesome to be the portal for a new little soul,” she wrote. As the New York Post reported, this will be her second child with Friscia, a former Army Ranger. They welcomed their first child, a son, in February 2025.

That first birth came at a frightening time for Timpf. She received a breast cancer diagnosis about 15 hours before going into labor, leaving her to confront the news as she prepared to meet her son. Her diagnosis was ductal carcinoma in situ, commonly called stage zero breast cancer. Timpf later shared updates about the surgery she would need while she was recovering from childbirth.

Timpf underwent a double mastectomy in March 2025 and said the following month that she was cancer-free. She had breast reconstruction surgery that July. The pregnancy announcement comes after those months of treatment and recovery, and she chose to deliver it herself in front of a live crowd before posting the moment for her followers.

Another loss followed this year. Timpf said her father, Daniel Timpf, died unexpectedly on May 7th at age 69. She had described him as “seemingly healthy, strong,” and his death came only months after her son’s first birthday. In a June Instagram post, she spoke plainly about how hard it had been to lose the father who helped her through her cancer diagnosis and surgery.

In her June post, Timpf described how abruptly her father’s death followed the first year of her son’s life. Daniel had helped her through the cancer diagnosis, childbirth and surgery. “Then, two months after my son’s first birthday, my dad just dropped dead, so it’s been really hard.”
