CV NEWS FEED // The Archdiocese of Detroit is inviting high school students to an upcoming youth event Feb. 2, designed to foster community and spiritual growth among young people in the Archdiocese.
In the spirit of the Archdiocese’s “Unleash the Gospel” movement, the daylong event will feature engaging activities, inspirational speakers, and opportunities for fellowship and friendship building.
Participants can look forward to presentations from notable speakers such as Mari Pablo, Father John Shi, and Detroit Bishop Jeffrey M. Monforton.
The day will include Mass celebrated by Bishop Monforton, keynote speeches, powerful music and worship experiences, workshops, and small group discussions. Eucharistic Adoration concludes the event.
The gathering will take place from 9 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. at Mercy High School in Farmington, located 20 minutes from downtown Detroit. All high school students are welcome to attend, regardless of their affiliation with a parish or their practice of Catholicism.
To participate, teens must be accompanied by an adult chaperone, which can be a youth minister, teacher, pastor, or parent.
The standard admission fee is $35 for all participants, covering both lunch and dinner. Registration for the event is open until Jan. 29.
