It is no secret that President Trump strongly dislikes both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The US President perhaps took umbrage with Meghan as far back as 2016, when she described him as "divisive" and "misogynistic".
She even joked about moving to Canada if he beat Hillary Clinton in the Presidential race.
Of course, she didn't begin dating Prince Harry until later that year and didn't marry into the Royal Family until 2018.
Rule No1, Meghan, avoid politics at all costs...
Nonetheless, Meghan's comments from her appearance on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore will remain on the internet forever, and President Trump doesn't forget.
Fast forward four years, President Trump was seeking a second term in office, and the duke and duchess (no longer carrying out official duties) urged Americans to "reject hate speech, misinformation, and online negativity" when voting.
I suspect they were not referring to Democratic candidate Joe Biden when their team drafted the statement.
Is it any surprise, therefore, President Trump used the opportunity of a world-exclusive GB News interview with my colleague Bev Turner to tell our audience exactly what he thinks of the Sussexes?

I travelled with the King and Queen for this year's State Visit to the United States of America, and observed President Trump's adoration for our Royal Family.
It is one of the reasons he chose to relax Scottish whisky tariffs, worth millions of pounds for Britain's economy.
"Everybody loved [King Charles] in America," he said. "He spoke in front of Congress. Everybody loved him. He's a fantastic guy, and he's been a friend of mine for a long time. I knew him as Prince Charles. I knew him as King Charles, and he's amazing, and he's fighting through a very tough situation with his health. And very few people would have that bravery to do what he's done."
The President also adores the Prince and Princess of Wales, and was clearly stunned by Her Royal Highness' regal appearance at Windsor Castle's State Banquet, held in his honour, last year.
So, inevitably, Prince Harry's public criticisms of his own family in his 2023 memoir Spare went down like a lead balloon for Donald Trump - a man who greatly values loyalty.
The President told GB News: "What she [Meghan] has done and him [Harry], you know, he wrote a book that was very terrible to William...I would have never spoken to him again."
Prince William, meanwhile, is understood not to have spoken to his brother in years, and is focused on his own programme of public work and raising his young family.
His brother and sister-in-law's dramatic return is thought to be an unwelcome distraction.
President Trump declared: "I would not have taken him [Prince Harry] back," after his public criticisms of the royals.
Unlike the US President, however, King Charles doesn't have the power to banish his own son from these shores.
British monarchs haven't had that kind of power for centuries.
In any case, it appears King Charles is willing to mend some bridges, having met Prince Harry, Meghan and their children for private time at Highgrove House earlier this summer.
Prince William, on the other hand, appears to be taking a different approach - I suspect President Trump is more inclined to take Prince William's side in this tiresome circus.
