Rockstar Games has finally revealed the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 as the wait to land in Vice City is slowly coming to an end.
When Rockstar Games announced that GTA 6 would be delayed until November 19, 2026, the hearts of the gaming world sank. The wait for the next instalment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise has been long enough as it is; an extra wait wasn’t wanted by anyone.
That disappointment was somewhat quelled by the reveal of the second trailer, which gave us some better insights into Jason and Lucia’s relationship, showed off new parts of Vice City, and had some glimpses of missions that everyone will be playing.
Well, now Rockstar has revealed the game’s launch trailer, with Jason touching on his backstory as a member of the military. The trailer also shows another look at his relationship with Lucia, confirming rumors that she would have an ankle tag.

The new trailer also expands on some of the missions shown in the Extended Look, with helicopters being used to fly part of a bank vault into a building.
It follows additional leaks from Cyberleek too, as the leaker said he’d hit the “end of the road.” He did, however, threaten to release story spoilers. This included clips from the game’s final missions, but they lack the context of what happens in the lead-up to those jobs.
Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick previously said that he is “terrified” about measuring GTA 6’s success, but also believes that they are making “the most spectacular piece of entertainment on Earth, in history.”
One former Rockstar Games dev also believes that they won’t be adding anything “new” at this stage in the development process, while another stated there could be some leftover content from GTA 5 that may make it into GTA 6.
