GTA 6’s Ultimate Edition has been revealed, showing off a ton of exclusive content available to those who fork out an extra $20, including some in-game stores.

The game launches on November 19, and you have the choice between two editions: Standard for $79.99, or the Ultimate Edition for $99.99. If you buy the standard edition, you’re free to upgrade to the Ultimate at any time.

As you’d expect, the extra money goes toward exclusive cosmetics for Jason and Lucia, but what’s come as a shock to many is that some in-game stores are locked behind the Ultimate Edition.

These five stores offer unique clothes, tattoos, hairstyles, and vehicle mods, leaving tons of cosmetics behind the higher price tag.

GTA 6 stores only available in the Ultimate Edition

Here are the stores that are all “only open for business with the Ultimate Edition”:

  • Rideout Customs (Mod Shop): Transform vanilla vehicles into magnificent works of art with detailed interiors, exquisite rims, and donk stylings.
  • Sara’s Unisex Salon (Hair Salon): Get signature salon styles for both Jason and Lucia, including facial hair for Jason and makeup and nails for Lucia.
  • Stock 305 (Clothing Store): Style various unique and exclusive looks for Jason and Lucia at Stockyard’s premiere destination for elevated streetwear.
  • Electric Fang Tattoo (Tattoo Shop): Stockyard’s most iconic ink bar, with over 50 signature tattoos for both Jason and Lucia — all designed by the artist collective FAILE.
  • One-Eyed Willie’s (Mod Shop): This mod shop in Lake Leonida specializes in off-road modifications and hand-painted automotive artistry.

It’s not clear how these stores will appear to those who bought the regular edition. Since you can upgrade to the Ultimate Edition at any time, they’re likely closed, with a message saying you can upgrade to open them.

That’s not all, as the raidable PTT YOUNGIN$ Illegal Goods Store Gang Compound and Classic Car Collection Special Commission are also locked behind the Ultimate Edition, meaning you’ll have to pay extra for these side missions and activities.
