Hayden Panettiere’s cause of death was the result of the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, Alprazolam, methocarbamol, and Quetiapine.
Greenville County Coroner’s Office determined the findings Tuesday, according to Page Six.
The late actress died August 16 at age 36.
A statement from the Coroner’s Office stated that “at approximately 1:51 PM, a 911 call was received regarding a reported cardiac arrest at 701 Easley Bridge Road in Greenville.”
“First responders and Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene and located a female in cardiac arrest.”
EMS acted quickly by initiating advanced cardiac life support measures, but sadly, they were unable to resuscitate the star and pronounced Panettiere dead at 2:32, according to Page Six.
Her death was ruled accidental.
The 911 audio recordings revealed a suspected overdose.
Panettiere was pronounced dead inside an apartment. Her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother were also on-scene at the time of her passing. Federal agents from the DEA teamed up with local authorities in South Carolina and Los Angeles to trace the origin of medications found at the scene. Their investigation remains ongoing.
