A celebrity hairstylist has claimed that Anne Hathaway treated him like a 'servant' - alleging that the A-lister was worse to work with than star Blake Lively

Emanuel Miller has spent his life managing the tresses of Hollywood heavyweights while forming close friendships with some of them.

Most recently, the hair expert broke his silence on who has made him want to pull his brush away while speaking to the host of the podcast What It Was Like, Julian Morgans.

A teaser clip of the episode was shared to the podcast's TikTok page and it has so far amassed over 1.7 million views.

In the shocking video, Emanuel claimed that working with the Princess Diaries star, 41, was 'one of the worst experiences', before adding that 37-year-old Blake - who has been embroiled in bitter controversy - was 'dismissive.'

The clip was captioned: 'In Part 2 of our interview with Hollywood hairstylist Emanuel Miller, he opens up about some of the challenging experiences he's had working with celebrities.

'While many were lovely, others were cold and rude. The controversy surrounding Blake Lively doesn’t surprise him, as it mirrors behavior he’s witnessed in others, including Anne Hathaway.'

The teaser saw the Hollywood hair expert noting that although the backlash against the Gossip Girl alum didn't phase him, he had to mention his off-putting experience working with Anne.

He claimed: 'It's hard to talk about working with Blake without mentioning I did a film with Anne Hathaway and that was one of my worst experiences.

'Anne never acknowledged me as a person for four and a half months. She treated me like a servant.'

The tresses pro alleged that Anne - who recently announced she would be starring in Princess Diaries 3 - never asked him about his family or personal life.

'There was never any personal conversation,' he said.

Moving on to his stance on the blond beauty, Emanuel said: 'When I first met Blake I thought, "Oh no, is this another Anne situation?"

At the end of the clip, the Hollywood expert claimed that he had also worked with Cate Blanchett, Tom Hanks and Johnny Depp, who were all extremely kind to him.

People on the web flocked to the comments section to share their shock at the hairstylist's opinion on the star.

One person said: 'Anne Hathaway they can never make me like you.'

Another user added: 'He would’ve hated me, because I hate small talk.'

His opinion of Blake didn't come as a shock to viewers as the Green Lantern actress has been facing a wave of controversy in the past few months.

Blake has faced criticism for how she promoted her film It Ends With Us amid allegations of a rumored rift with Justin Baldoni, who plays her on-screen love interest, after the actors took part in separate promotional work on the summer hit and are said to not be talking.

The drama began with rumors of onset tension between the stars after Blake allegedly felt Justin was 'fat-shaming' her when he asked his personal trainer for guidance on how to protect his back during a scene in which he had to lift her.

That animosity appeared to have poured out into post-production and publicity, with Blake later accused of 'bullying' Justin out of his first major movie

Additionally, the Gossip Girl alum endured backlash over her past 'mean girl' behavior and comments in multiple resurfaced interviews.
