A weeklong operation around Houston, Texas, by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) bagged almost 650 illegal aliens, 550 of whom were criminals.
The announcement from ICE followed the arrest of a Guatemalan sex fiend and child molester on March 6, and a report in late February about myriad sex criminals ICE has arrested.
The continuing ICE raids began on Day 1 of the Trump presidency, and thus far have netted more than 20,000 arrests.
The problem for ICE and Homan: Almost 700,000 illegal-alien rapists, murderers, and other criminals and criminal suspects are still roaming American streets.

The Arrests
ICE arrested 646 illegals pursuant to 71 arrest warrants. Among them were 543 criminals and “seven documented gang members.”
The 543 have been “charged [with] or convicted of a criminal offense while they were illegally present in the U.S. including,” ICE reported:
• 140 [for a] violent offense such as homicide, aggravated assault, or domestic violence;
• 34 [for a] a sex offense or child sex offense such as aggravated sexual assault of a minor, possession of child pornography, or rape;
• 38 criminal aliens [for] unlawful carrying of a firearm, alien in possession of a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm;
• 52 criminal aliens [for] illicit narcotics offenses such as drug trafficking, or possession of a controlled substance;
• 51 criminal aliens [for] burglary or theft; and,
• 93 [for] driving while intoxicated.
Among the sex criminals recently arrested, ICE reported last week, were these criminals and sex fiends:
- Two Mexicans: a 41-year-old, child-molesting drunk driver and a 61-year-old convicted of the same offenses;
- Three Cubans: a 71-year-old child molester, a 55-year-old sexual molester, and a 61-year-old sexual molester and kidnapper;
- Two 57-year-old Vietnamese: one a child molester, the other a sexual extortionist and burglar;
- A 39-year-old, Salvadoran, three-time deportee charged with molesting a child; and,
- A 72-year-old Filipino child molester and dope fiend.

Guatemalan Sex Criminal
One of the most notorious sex criminals ICE recently arrested is Axel Ramirez-Hernandez, a veteran border jumper.
After entering the nation at an unknown time and location, an immigration judge ordered Ramirez removed on July 18, 2012, ICE reported. ICE deported the miscreant “migrant” the next month.
Less than a year later, on April 13, 2012, the Border Patrol caught him again in McAllen, Texas. ICE deported him on August 11, 2014.
Unable to understand that he is unwanted in the United States, he jumped the border again at another unknown time and location.
It turns out that Ramirez is a sex fiend.
“The Superior Court of Connecticut for the Judicial District of Stamford/Norwalk convicted Ramirez of sexual assault on a victim under 16 years old June 6, 2011, and sentenced him to five years in prison, 18 months supervised release and 10 years of probation,” the agency reported:
The U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Texas convicted Ramirez of illegal re-entry after deportation Jan. 23, 2014, and sentenced him to 18 months incarceration. Ramirez also has local criminal charges pending for driving while intoxicated in Ramapo, New York.
Another recent arrest: Border Patrol agents in the El Centro, California, sector bagged two Venezuelan illegals who attempted to smuggle other illegals into the country. One is wanted on a murder charge in Chicago.

A Big Job
ICE arrested more than 2,500 illegal-alien criminals during President Donald Trump’s first week in office.
And on February 26, the Department of Homeland Security reported:
In a single month under President Trump more than 20,000 illegal aliens were arrested
That’s a 627% increase in monthly arrests compared to just 33,000 at large arrests under Biden for ALL of last year.
The raids focus first on criminals, Homan has said. However, because illegals tend to congregate, illegal aliens whose only offense is crossing the border will be swept up as well. Impeding the effort are leaks from inside federal law enforcement. At least one of the informants has been found and fired.

But Homan and ICE face a monumental task. As The New American reported in September, citing ICE data released to GOP U.S. Representative Tony Gonzales of Texas, more than half a million illegal-alien criminals are running wild and free thanks to the Biden administration, which caught and released them at the border. ICE noted:
As of July 21, 2024, there were 662,566 noncitizens with criminal histories on ICE’s national docket, which includes those detained by ICE, and on the agency’s non-detained docket.
Of those, 435,719 are convicted criminals, and 226,847 have pending criminal charges.
The data also included the crimes they committed or with which they have been charged. Among the criminals were more than 13,009 murderers and more than 25,000 sex criminals.
Arresting all those criminals is a daunting task.
Some of those released at the border on President Joe Biden’s unlawful standing orders were rapists, murderers, and gang members. One was the Venezuelan thug who murdered nursing student Laken Riley in Georgia.
Another victim was Jocelyn Nungaray of Texas.
Those Democrats “Care About Most”
Trump presented the Riley and Nungaray families during his speech to a joint session of Congress last week. Embarrassingly, the Democrats beclowned themselves by refusing to acknowledge them.
One reason: As Democratic Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut once said, illegal aliens are the “people we care about most.”
One of those people — a Haitian flown directly into the country, again, on Biden’s orders — is charged with murdering three people in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
