Jon Stewart has mercilessly mocked Democrats, as he accused them of putting up a lousy resistance to Donald Trump following his electoral win.

The comedian, 61, told 'la resistance' against Trump to 'saddle up' on the latest episode of Comedy Central's The Daily Show on Monday.

Stewart lamented that liberals were 'clear-eyed' about the threat a Trump presidency faced before the Republican won, but now seem to be toning down their rhetoric.

He singled out married Morning Joe stars Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, who have gone from saying Trump is a fascist to meeting with him at Mar-a-Lago to 'restart communications.'

'Joe and Mika Brzezinski Scarborough, who famously warned of the growing threat of Trump's fascism, had an interesting announcement to make,' Stewart began.

'We've learned nothing!' he shouted regarding the couple's meeting with Trump.

'Even those putting up resistance to Trump's agenda don't seem to understand who they're dealing with.'

Stewart continued his attack against Scarborough: 'Oh, I bet you really laid down the gauntlet, Joe.

'I bet you really let [Trump] have it, didn't you, Joey?'

Stewart also played a clip of Brzezinski asking, 'why wouldn't we meet with [Trump]?'

'Uh, because you said he was Hitler!' Stewart responded.

Stewart then made an impression of Brzezinski trying to talk to Trump about his 'outrageous rhetoric' but getting distracted by macaroons.

Stewart also went after president Joe Biden for heading to the Amazon in Brazil this week.

'What the f**k?' Stewart pondered. 'in the middle of all this, he disappeared to the rainforest?'

Stewart also urged Democrats to 'exploit the loopholes' instead of 'complaining about the norms over and over again' in order to get things done.

'They don't give a f***k about your norms,' he continued. 'They will exploit any loophole, even if they have to go through clearly closed windows to do it.'

Stewart begged liberals to 'become the loophole guys that figure out how to get s**t done.'

'Republicans are playing chess and the Democrats are in the nurse's office because the glued their balls to their thigh,' the  comedian added.

Scarborough and Brzezinski have received backlash from conservative and liberal media figures after they revealed that they met with the president-elect on Friday.

The View's Ana Navarro was one of the liberal media figures who unleashed a blistering on-air tirade in response to the pair's surprise visit to Mar-a-Lago over the weekend.

The political strategist tore into the married MSNBC anchors over their trip to see Trump, calling it 'opportunistic' during her rant. She asked whether the two had 'change[d] their stripes' because of 'who's in power.'

On the MAGA side, Megyn Kelly also went after Scarborough and Brzezinski, telling them to go 'f**k themselves.'

'Go f**k yourselves, you dishonest jokes of faux journalists,' Kelly said on Monday, reminding her audience that the Morning Joe hosts initially supported Trump's bid for president in 2016.

'It is nauseating, it's so stomach-turning,' Kelly added. 'They're so disgusting.'

The MSNBC hosts dismissed the criticism on Tuesday, saying it just proves there is a 'massive disconnect' between 'social media and the real world.'
