The 2025 Jubilee Year is here!
The Holy Door is open. Will you walk through?
A Jubilee is a special time for renewal, grace, and hope. Many of us remember the Great Jubilee of 2000 when Pope St. John Paul II led the entire Church in prayer.
2025 is a chance to live out our faith more fully with the more than 1 billion Catholics worldwide.
Let’s make the most of it – together.
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I with them.”
It all began on Christmas Eve 2024 when the Holy Father opened the first Holy Door at the Basilica of St. Peter – ushering in a period of grace and hope for each of us to enter into.
It’s felt like a new day in America since November 6. But as Catholics, we know that far beyond all princes and presidents, it is Jesus Christ alone who can “make all things new.” So, as our great nation welcomes a new government, let us consecrate ourselves and our efforts for our country first to Him.
This is our moment to usher America into a new era of hope, where Catholic values light the way forward and shape our nation’s future.
We can’t forget: As Catholics, we are called to take action. To live out our faith not just in our homes and parishes, church, but also in the public sphere.
In this Jubilee of 2025, let us commit to renewal in America. That we may truly be “one nation, under God.”
