Keith Olbermann’s tweet made me giggle. (LMAO)

The left-wing lunatic is out here calling for the firing of Pat McAfee from ESPN, doing so after the sports media icon came to the defense of the United States and blasted Canada as a “terrible country.” Things went down Saturday night during a WWE Premium Live Event.

The PLE that WWE put on was the Elimination Chamber that took place in Toronto, and before we got to the action, Canadians booed the hell out of the National Anthem.

McAfee, who works for WWE as a color analyst, had this to say about what popped off after the fact. (RELATED: President Trump’s Grandson Chops It Up With Couple Of NFL Stars — Can Life Get Any Cooler For The First Family?)

“Kind of sucks that it’s in the terrible country of Canada, which booed our national anthem to start this entire thing. But it’s going to be a historic night for the WWE,” said McAfee.

When Monday arrived, McAfee addressed his hammering of Canada, doing so on his ESPN show.

“There’s been some things said to me from Canadians that I guess I respect, because of the passion that you have for your country, which I hope you understand that I was showing the same for mine,” explained McAfee.

I’m very proud and thankful that I’m from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States of America..

Canadians have a lot of passion for their country and I understand it..

You booed our country and I said you’re terrible..

Let’s shake hands and move along 🤝 #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/pG4mvl9jVi

Well, Keith Olbermann wasn’t happy whatsoever with McAfee defending America, even calling for ESPN to fire him over simply being a patriot.

“A lot of us tried to warn the new espn management that the day would come when this idiot would draw them into a permanent political controversy and they could either be subsumed by it, or fire him That day is today. Fire him,” posted Olbermann.
