Kody Brown and his wife, Robyn Brown, will not be on Season 21 of “Sister Wives.”
The trailer for the TLC show’s upcoming installment dropped on Thursday, opening with a statement that “after 16 years of filming ‘Sister Wives,’ Kody & Robyn will not be returning to the show.”
The duo — who didn’t appear in the teaser — did not comment on the bombshell news.
Reps for Kody and TLC did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
His ex-wives, however, appeared to react to the casting update during a series of confessionals.
“I don’t know what it means. I have no idea,” Christine Brown Woolley said in the trailer.
Janelle Brown, meanwhile, said that she was “flabbergasted, really, when [she] got the news.”
Meri Brown, for her part, added, “I was actually surprised when I was told that Kody and Robyn weren’t coming back to the show.”
Kody, 57, and Robyn, 47, have been a part of the series for 16 years — since its September 2010 premiere.
At the time, Kody was married to Christine, 54, Meri, 55, and Janelle, 57 — before tying the knot with Robyn in 2014.
Robyn is Kody’s only remaining wife after a cascade of separations, with him and Christine splitting in 2021, followed by breakups with both Janelle and Meri the following year.
Many of Kody’s 18 children, notably, are estranged from their dad, and he went on a self-proclaimed “apology tour” at the end of last season.
During Thursday’s trailer, all three of Kody’s former spouses reunited for “awkward” meetups where they melted down jewelry from him, feuded over a land deal, chatted about their dating lives and more.
Christine, notably, has been married to husband David Woolley since 2023, while Meri and Janelle have made headlines for romances with men named Rob and Pete, respectively.
Season 21 of “Sister Wives” premieres Sunday, Oct. 4, at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
