The beauty mogul has teamed up with Meta to create a limited-edition pair of AI-powered smart glasses. According to Jenner, she was involved in everything from the shape of the frames to the packaging, the charging case, and even the sound the glasses make when they're switched on.

The collection launched Tuesday in three colorways: black with black lenses, dark tortoise with chocolate lenses, and black with transition gray lenses. Along with Meta's built-in camera, speakers, and AI assistant, Jenner's version includes custom voice prompts she recorded herself.

One of them will probably sound familiar. "I recorded all these little lines," Jenner told ELLE. "You put them on in the morning and it says, 'rise and shine.' It just felt like something I'd actually reach for every single day."

The greeting is a nod to the viral moment that has followed Jenner for years after she sang the phrase to her daughter Stormi in a 2019 YouTube video. Now, it's been turned into one of the first things wearers hear when they put on the glasses.

Unlike many celebrity collaborations that revolve around marketing, Jenner says she approached this like one of her own product launches. She explained that she wanted frames she would genuinely wear, settling on a slim oval cat-eye silhouette. I won't lie, they look more like designer sunglasses than a piece of technology.

"I wanted something slim and oval that feels like a real fashion piece, not something that looks like you're wearing a gadget," she said. She also focused on smaller design touches, including a gemstone detail on one lens and a charging case with a built-in mirror. Jenner said they're exactly what makes a product feel complete.

"My approach is honestly the same," she said when comparing the project to designing for her clothing brand, Khy. "I always start with what I'd actually wear."

Working on wearable technology did introduce a new challenge. Instead of designing clothing or cosmetics, Jenner had to think about how cameras, speakers, and hardware could fit inside a pair of sunglasses without changing their appearance.

"There was this moment where I stepped back and thought, Am I designing hardware right now?" she said. "That's not something anyone expects from me. But I've done fashion, I've done beauty, and this felt like the most natural next step."

The launch also reflects Jenner's current style, which has shifted toward cleaner, more understated pieces in recent years. She said she intentionally avoided creating glasses that would compete with an outfit. "Where I am now, I want things that just disappear into your look," Jenner explained. "They're not competing with what you're wearing; they're completing it."

Meta has spent the past few years pushing smart glasses further into the fashion space, working with recognizable names as it tries to make AI-powered wearables feel more like everyday accessories than tech gadgets. Jenner's collaboration continues that strategy while bringing one of the world's biggest beauty and fashion influencers into the mix.

Whether people are buying them for the built-in camera, the AI features, or simply because they want Kylie Jenner telling them to "rise and shine" every morning, the collaboration is likely to attract plenty of attention from both tech fans and fashion followers. Curious about the price? The Kylie Jenner Starfire edition costs $399, while Meta's standard Adventurer and Fury styles start at $299.
