League of Legends patch 25.7 is bringing a visual overhaul to LeBlanc, one of the game’s oldest champions and someone who was in dire need of a facelift. However, she’s got more going on than just some visual changes.
There are some other things to look forward to in this patch, though, mainly some April Fools changes that’ll make a few changes to the gameplay along with the addition of some skins. One of these skins, Pengu Garen, is even free. Although it’ll only be usable for the duration of the patch.
And, though we don’t know too many of the balance changes just yet, there are a few big ones that are more than worth mentioning even if this patch is looking less substantial than 25.06 in terms of balance changes.
Here’s what we know about LoL patch 25.7 so far.
April Fools update
The April Fools patch doesn’t contain huge updates, but there are enough that you’ll want to know going into the patch. However, the main draw is the new skins.
These are widely regarded as some of the best skins LoL has released in years, both in terms of art direction and animation quality. Considering all the controversy around Hextech Chests and player complaints about skin quality, this is a huge win for Riot.
That, and the free Garen skin brings the first actual hitbox change to a skin. This is why it’ll only be sticking around for a short time, but, as a result of that, it’ll be free to use.
Additionally, this update will feature a number of visual changes to the Rift. A Disco rubber ducky, minions with cat ears, and the Party drake will all be changing the way the map looks.
Party Drake is replacing Cloud Drake and will genuinely change the map:
- Grants Party Favor on kill
- Party Favors grant gold and a skill point
- Party Dragon Soul grants 30% move speed and AD/AP that scales off move speed
- Grants wind tunnels on the map like Cloud Drake, but party themed
LeBlanc overhaul
As of now, there’s no indication that LeBlanc is getting any balance changes with her visual update, though there’s a chance that can change. However, we’ve seen her kit in action, so she’s guaranteed to have a very similar if not identical set of abilities. If any changes are made, they’ll be small.

Along with her in-game visual overhaul, every skin has either had its splash edited or completely overhauled (like Mistletoe LeBlanc pictured above). New VFX and animations for every skin. As is standard with visual updates like this, it’s likely her older skins will be put up for sale in the store to allow players who never got to buy them a decade ago getting a shot at getting these skins.
Here’s a look at every skin in-game to see what’s changed:
