A mom from Wylie, Texas, just solidified her status as the coolest mom ever after riding her horse to pick up her daughter from middle school.

“It was my idea – it’s always my idea,” Kimberly Greenlaw said as she recalled her awesome move in an interview with WFAA News. Greenlaw took “Country Spirit” day seriously by commuting to the school on her beloved horse named Indy. She picked up her daughter Karson on their 23-year-old half-Egyptian, half Polish-Arabian horse and was the envy of many as she made her way through the crowded line of cars using a far more exciting mode of transportation.

A video shared by the news outlet showed Greenlaw and Indy trotting up to the long line of cars full of other parents that were waiting to pick up their children. The horse casually made her way to the front of the school and stopped between two vehicles. The scene played out with such ease that you’d think this had been done many times before, but those looking on were pleasantly surprised. Parents and kids looked on with awe as they observed the unconventional school pick up.

One wide-eyed child looked on with admiration and simply said, “wow,” as the horse trotted by.

“What in the Texas is happening right now?” said one parent in a pickup truck.

The camera panned to a school window where one child adorably held up a sign that read, “I love horses.”

It’s safe to say the horse pick-up generated a whole lot of interest as Greenlaw sat in the line and waited for Karson to exit the school, showing the same level of patience that all the parents in vehicles did.

“Only in Texas,” one parent said.

Eventually, Karson came out of class to see her mother and her horse amid the long line of cars, ready to take her home. Greenlaw helped her daughter mount Indie and led them home. (RELATED: Firefighters Use Horses For Medicine Delivery To Elderly Couple In Arkansas)

Sorry to all the kids out there that didn’t get this super cool ride home. There’s not much that can top this kind of horsepower.
