Ditto is getting its own officially licensed Nintendo Switch 2 controller, allowing Pokemon fans to button-mash across its smiling face.
Pokemon’s Ditto is having a strong year in 2026, with the morphing monster appearing across train stations, squidgy bathroom products, and a Switch 2 carry case. Well, adding to the Nintendo console lineup is a newly revealed Ditto wireless controller.
Unlike the regular Pro Controller, the purple PowerA Advantage Wireless Controller comes kitted out with a Ditto makeover and some handy features.
Ditto takes over new Switch 2 controller
As shown in the image below, the controller features a light purple shell that has a darker purple Ditto stretched across the front. However, the best feature is the purple thumbsticks, which make it look like Ditto’s little hands (it’s incredibly cute stuff).
The controller is then rounded off with matching purple buttons and D-pad, just in case you were worried that there wasn’t enough purple coating the controller. As for the controller itself, it comes with Hall Effect thumbsticks that use magnetic sensors to register movement and remove stick drift.
There are also two additional buttons on the back of the controller, which can be remapped during gameplay. Just like with the Pro Controller, the Ditto PowerA features full motion controls and comes with a dedicated C Button to allow you to access the console’s GameChat features.
The only downside of the Ditto controller is that it doesn’t feature HD rumble or amiibo scanning, so bear this in mind before you go adding the mighty morphing ‘mon to your collection.
As for battery life, PowerA says you’ll get up to 30 hours on a single charge while a 10-foot USB-C charging cable is included. The controller also works with the original Switch, Switch OLED, and Switch Lite.
The Ditto controller is available to preorder through Amazon US for $50.99, while shipping will begin on October 20, 2026.
