We know that the wild world of Pokémon is firmly focused on the 30th Celebration collection right now, but can we remind you that a new expansion is on the horizon? Yes, the Mega Evolution Delta Reign officially launches on Nov. 6. That's really not that far away, and if you play your cards right, you could get your hands on this expansion even sooner.
From Oct. 24, select Play! Pokémon stores will begin hosting early prerelease events and selling the Mega Evolution Delta Reign Build & Battle Box.

When and where to buy the Delta Reign Build & Battle Box
Desperately want to score the Mega Evolution Delta Reign Build & Battle Box? You're not alone.
The general release is scheduled for Nov. 6. Build & Battle Boxes will drop online and in stores on official launch day at major retailers, including Amazon, Walmart, and the Pokémon Center. Competition will be fierce and stock is likely to be limited. You know the drill by now.
But there is another way. Local stores participating in the Play! Pokémon program will host early events starting Oct. 24. You can use the Pokémon Event Locator to find a participating local shop. If you find something nearby, you have a rare chance to experience a prerelease battle and grab the latest expansion before its official release date.
What's included in the Build & Battle Box?
Each Build & Battle Box contains four Mega Evolution Delta Reign booster packs (each pack includes 10 cards from the new expansion), a 40-card deck featuring key cards from current and prior expansions, and one of four unique foil promo cards. The lineup of promo cards features Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus, or Kommo-o.
Not able to make it to a prerelease event? Do not panic: These Build & Battle Boxes will be available for purchase when the expansion officially launches. You're just going to have a lot more competition.
