I can’t believe how hyped I am over a 77-year-old’s return.
Ric Flair, a 16-time World Champion, has announced that he’s “back in” the WWE.
While speaking with fellow wrestling legend Booker T, the two-time Hall of Famer revealed that a comeback is looming, and it will begin in Februaey at Royal Rumble in Glendale, Arizona. (RELATED: Ric Flair Files $10 Million Lawsuit After Allegedly Getting Tricked Out Of Digital Identity: REPORT)
“The road of life is going to lead me to you in Philadelphia. Then, unfortunately, I’m coming to the Royal Rumble … You’re going to see a lot of me now. I’m back in,” said Flair on the “Hall of Fame” podcast. “Me and Hunter hugged. We made up. I’m back in.”
WWE and “The Nature Boy” have had multiple fallouts, beginning with the company’s move to ban Flair from attending all festivities during the weekend of WrestleMania 42 in April after he threatened to “beat up” Ludwig Kaiser (El Grande Americano).

The “Nature Boy” is truly a legend.
Only Ric Flair can publicly feud with WWE, burn that bridge to ash, threaten to whip an active European technician half his age, and then stroll back in like it’s nothing as a 77-year-old.
The big question now is what “back in” actually looks like. Is he going to be in the ring? Is he just going to be used for storylines and promos?
Clearly, we’re not going to see him fight it out in the Royal Rumble or anything like that, and after the “Last Match” spectacle, I don’t know how far WWE would let him go. Is he going to be used like a Paul Heyman?
I just have so many questions, but at the same time, I don’t know why I’m this emotionally invested when I know this run is only going to last about six weeks before another podcast rant derails it.
Either way, this should be pretty fun.
