Rockstar Games has responded to the ongoing leaks about GTA 6 from leaker CyberLeek, with a number of gameplay features surfacing.
Over the years, there have been a few leaks from Grand Theft Auto 6’s development phase, but the clips and images from CyberLeek have blown them out of the water.
These specific leaks started on August 18, just over a week before Rockstar Games’ planned extended look at GTA 6 on Netflix. Various clips have been distributed online, showing off some combat, driving, minigames, the Vice City map, and even radio stations.
The leaker has taunted the developers by posting a cut screen relating to characters not being caught by police and even shooting his own name into a wall with an assault rifle in-game.

Now, just ahead of the Netflix Extended Look, Rockstar and Take-Two have hit back, calling the leaks “heartbreaking,” and apologizing for not speaking sooner.
“We are very excited for everyone to see the extended look tomorrow. It has taken longer than we wanted to get it ready, but as with everything we do, we know we need to exceed your expectations, and we are determined to deliver at the level you expect and deserve,” they said on August 26.
“While it is unfortunate that the intended game experience may now be impacted by some spoilers, we hope that everyone will wait a bit longer to experience the game for themselves on November 19.”
As noted, these are not the first leaks from GTA 6’s development process. Back in 2022, another leaker, Arion Kurtaj, showed off clips of Jason and Lucia interacting with NPCs, as well as holding up stores and stealing from crates.
In late 2023, the 18-year-old hacker was sentenced to live in a hospital prison until he’s no longer a threat. He surfaced again in 2026, reportedly using a burner phone from prison to post more details about the game on Snapchat.
He also called the hacking charges “bulls*it,” in another social media exchange.
