Who’s ready for another round of Stephen A. Smith v. LeBron James?
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James is currently resting after suffering a groin injury against the Boston Celtics, and while that’s happening, ESPN superstar Stephen A. Smith is making the rounds. His latest media appearance was Tuesday on “Gil’s Arena.”
Smith once again got on the subject of his courtside confrontation with the self-proclaimed king, providing more details about the confusion that was caused in regards to what LeBron was angry about. And not just that, but he blasted LeBron‘s words as “weak” and “bullsh*t.” and went on to suggest that him getting mad stemmed from Bronny having a “sad look on his face” while sitting on the bench. Smith also gave an explanation about why things didn’t ratchet up even more courtside between the two.
“Now we can sit up here and front all we want to and act like we don’t work for somebody,” said Smith.
“Dammit, I work for Walt Disney. And if I had gotten into some shit with him at courtside right there in that moment, no matter how right I would have been, it would have been wrong. And I was like, I’m not gonna do this, but once I saw the tape of him talking to Richard Jefferson Saturday night in Boston that was when I got really pissed because that was confirmation.”
I’m gonna start treating this like a rap beef … LeBron, you got 24 hours to respond.
