Take-Two Interactive CEO, Strauss Zelnick, has reiterated GTA 6‘s November 19 release date in a TikTok interview.

‘The School of Hard Knocks’ goes around interviewing the wealthy, including Raising Cain’s CEO, Tom Cruise, and Shaquille O’Neal, in ambush-style interviews. They’re unlikely to be real ambushes; it’s a type of TikTok interview where people are approached on the street and give seemingly off-the-cuff interviews.

In the latest video, posted on June 15, the interviewer approached Strauss Zelnick and asked him, “So when’s GTA 6 coming out?” to which the Take-Two boss replied, “November 19.”

This is the official release date that’s been known for a while, but since the game has been delayed a couple of times before, fans are still waiting for the other shoe to drop. However, all signs continue to point to November 19 being the day it finally arrives.

Zelnick reiterated the date in another recent interview and told Variety, “I think we’ve been really clear that we’re releasing the title on November 19.”

So if you needed any more confirmation that Grand Theft Auto 6 arrives on November 19, there’s another example.

The TikToker also asked Zelnick why it’s taken so long. “The team at Rockstar really does seek to do something that’s never been done before,” he explained. “That’s really hard, and it takes a long time.”

He also said Take-Two said the company’s revenue last year was $6.7 billion, and next year, “it’s expected to be a little over $8 billion.”

It’s no secret that GTA 6 will be an absolute juggernaut, and other publishers are actively avoiding November, making September and October extremely busy for releases. However, a new Barbie game is releasing one week before it.
