Let’s get it on! *rings bell*

The NBA game Wednesday night between the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets saw a tense little scuffle pop off in the second quarter, though the entertainment value could’ve been a lot better if the NBA allowed their players to fight like the NHL does.

Drama sparked up when Suns center Mason Plumlee and Rockets center Steven Adams got locked up while competing for paint position. During so, Plumlee forced his elbows in the direction of Adams’ head, which provoked the New Zealander to grab the former Duke Blue Devil. What came next was a mini-skirmish, with the two completely tangled and tumbling to the court. It was one of those scenes where you just wanted to see both players go at it in pure fury.

Each Plumlee and Adams were hit with ejections, which is absolutely ridiculous, but whatever.

Here’s one angle of the scrap, and I’ve also got another one for ya.

My whole thing is… Why do we embrace the NHL when they fight, but it’s a bad look when NBA players get to scrappin’?

I say let them fight. If the NBA really wants to boost their television ratings and ticket sales, they’d let WWE erupt in their arenas every night. Holy hell, I can just imagine the magic now.

I want ‘Malice at the Palace’ every single flippin’ night! Give it to me, Adam Silver!
