After Joshua Van defended his flyweight title against Alexandre Pantoja in an unanimous decision during UFC 331 in September, the Ultimate Fighting Championship travels from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City for UFC 332.
For the main event, Brazilian Natalia Silva (20-5-1) takes on Chinese fighter Wang Cong (30-6-0) for the vacant women’s flyweight title belt on the line. It’s scheduled for five rounds.
On Saturday, Oct. 3, UFC 332: Silva vs. Wang takes place at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The event starts at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT, while the main card is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
For the main event, Silva is considered the favorite to win the UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship because of her powerful fighting technique. However, Wang Cong, as the underdog, has the ability to lay down speedy strikes with a background in kickboxing, so there’s a chance she could upset to claim victory for herself.
And since UFC 332 is a high profile event in Salt Lake City, it’s likely the MMA event may feature a few of celebrity sightings, especially celebrities who have attended in the past in Utah, such as Theo Von, Conor McGregor, Utah Jazz-owner Ryan Smith and others.
