It was one hell of a Sunday for the Trojans!
USC‘s situation with Class of 2025 quarterback recruiting just went through quite the whirlwind. On one side, the Trojans picked up a huge commitment from elite five-star quarterback Husan Longstreet, flipping his prior allegiance from the Texas A&M Aggies, according to an announcement from Longstreet himself. Well, while that was going on, USC happened to lose one of their longtime commitments in four-star recruit Julian Lewis after he decommitted following a visit to Colorado.
The Trojans could see the writing on the wall, however, with Lewis publicly showing interest in other schools. With that being the case, USC decided to look for another quarterback, and this eventually led them to landing Longstreet. Out of Corona, California, Longstreet is listed as the 28th best player in the Class of 2025 and the fourth best quarterback.

The loser in this entire situation is Julian Lewis.
Don’t get me wrong, he’ll land at some top-notch college, no problem there, but the Trojans didn’t do anything but upgrade at the quarterback position. In terms of brand appeal, it’s not the best look for Lewis, and for USC, you gotta be grateful that this whole thing happened because you ended up with this…

You just gotta love it when things work out for ya in the end … that’s exactly what happened with USC.
