Xbox responds after judge grants GTA 6 subpoena request

The CTO of Xbox has responded after a judge granted Take-Two’s subpoena requests, allowing it to obtain information related to the Cyberleek Microsoft OneDrive and Discord Accounts.

On August 20, Take-Two filed two requests in a New York federal court, one aimed at Microsoft and another at Discord. They requested that both companies hand over information that would help them identify the person or group behind the leaks.

Now, a New York District Court judge has granted both requests, meaning they will have to cooperate and provide account, device and cloud records.

“We are working closely with Take-Two and Rockstar Games to support efforts to protect creative works and intellectual property,” he wrote.

Cyberleek is now taking leak requests for big money

In the days since the initial manifesto, the GTA 6 leaker Cyberleek has updated their website, adding a ‘Contact’ section. They have added options for people to pay for “in-video ads” and “custom-made gameplay footage.”

For the chance just to contact them and negotiate a deal, they are requesting more than $164,000 worth of cryptocurrency. From the very first leaks, the videos have featured Cyberleek branding and a pitch for a Solana memecoin.
