Macklemore announced his “Free Palestine” tour Thursday on Instagram, just ten days after he was booted from Ed Sheeran’s remaining shows.
The famous rapper was ousted from Sheeran’s tour after making pro-Palestine statements during his opening performance.
“What happened to me is bigger than one artist or one stage,” Macklemore shared on X.
“When the billionaire class can decide which voices are allowed on stage and which ones are too dangerous to hear, everyone should be paying attention.”

Macklemore’s statement continued, “So we’re going on tour. All proceeds will benefit organizations supporting the Palestinian people and movement.”
The singer didn’t specify which artists would be joining him in the newly announced concert series, but he did share some location details for interested fans.

Sheeran has faced widespread backlash for continuing his tour without Macklemore, after it was revealed that Robert Kraft had banned Macklemore from his stadium and had rallied with other stadium owners to do the same.
Sheeran’s entire band and his opening acts dropped out of the tour as a result.
