Sydney Sweeney was spotted filming a sequel to “The Housemaid” alongside what appeared to be her new co-star, Stephen Kalyn.
In photos from the Hoboken, New Jersey set of “The Housemaid’s Secret” on Thursday, the “Euphoria” star, 29, stood outside a building on a sidewalk while apparently exchanging lines with Kalyn.
She wore a blue off-the-shoulder sweater and jeans, while Kalyn wore a purple sweater and maroon pants.
Various crew members could be seen surrounding the pair as they worked on the highly anticipated sequel.
In one photo, Kalyn placed his hands on Sweeney’s shoulders in what appeared to be a romantic moment.
Sweeney was also snapped seemingly waving at photographers as she worked on the set.
Other pics showed Sweeney and co-star Michele Morrone, shooting scenes in the locale on Wednesday.
In one pic, Morrone and Sweeney embraced while seemingly taking a selfie, and in another, Morrone kissed her on the forehead.
Sweeney is reprising her role as ex-convict turned housekeeper Millie Calloway in the film, opposite onscreen love interest Brock Cunningham, played by Kalyn.
Morrone is also reprising his role as Enzo Accardi — the wealthy Winchester family’s Italian landscaper, who in the first film plays a pivotal role in Millie’s escape from a dangerous situation with her employer.
Amanda Seyfried, who played Nina Winchester in the 2025 adaptation of Freida McFadden’s popular novel, will not return, nor will Brandon Sklenar, who played Andrew Winchester — though Seyfried is an executive producer.
In a December interview, she called “The Housemaid” — which was released last December — her “dream project.”
“I love complex, juicy, crazy, twisted stories,” she told the BBC at the time. She also addressed the film’s themes of violence, saying she wants to make movies that “impact and hopefully save people’s lives.”
“Being able to have a film that’s on a more commercial level talk about a very difficult topic is important,” she explained.
