The NBA brought us a flavor of March Madness!

Throughout the game Sunday afternoon, the Minnesota Timberwolves had multiple runs where they put themselves even with the Phoenix Suns, but Devin Booker & Co. came back every single time to put them further in a hole. It was like that the whole way through the contest until … well … it happened. (RELATED: Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama Becomes Youngest Center Ever To Accomplish 50-Point Game)

At one point in the game, the T-Wolves were facing a 16-point deficit, but they managed to claw themselves back in the game to see themselves tied with Phoenix, 117-117, with 46.4 seconds left in the game. On the next possession, Minnesota’s defense forced the Suns to make three consecutive misses, which featured two Booker shots. As time went along, we then ran into a situation where Phoenix was hit with a shot-clock violation, giving the ball to the Wolves with just 2.7 seconds on the clock.

In literally just his only action of the game, Timberwolves shooting guard Joe Ingles threw the ball inbounds to power forward Julius Randle, who threw up a three-point shot to the basketball gods and delivered us a moment that you usually only see in college basketball.

You don’t get this much in the NBA, it’s quite the sight to see.
